Career Change Program is customized to assist clients with developing the tools they need to successfully transition to a new career and employment. The service includes a review of education and work history, assessment of competencies, goals, personal assets, traits and transferable skills. From this work, new careers are identified. Standardized testing including the Myers Briggs, Campbell Skills and Interests Inventory, Career Anchors and business career interest inventory may be used to facilitate this process.

Job Transition This program can follow career change or stand alone. It focuses on conducting a results- oriented job search. Topics include: tailoring a resume and writing cover letters, developing a job search pitch and marketing plan, networking, interviewing, job search time management and salary negotiation. (The program can be included as part of a severance package.)

Resume Development: As a stand alone topic, resume development includes updating a previous resume, introducing results- oriented accomplishments, identifying transferable competencies and handling various issues including gaps in work experience. The development of other job search written communication such as cover letters is also covered.

Interview Preparation Also as a stand alone topic, interviewing skills development focuses on how to prepare for an interview, handle challenging questions, improve communication skills and overcome the employer's objections. (Students applying to college or graduate school can also benefit from this service.)

Career Coaching This service is provided to employees as part of a professional development program and can also be selected by individuals on their own. Starting with an assessment process to identify areas in need of improvement, coaching helps professionals to make changes in the way they interact with others, handle feedback, time pressures, getting established in a new job, new leadership responsibilities, performance reviews, separation and retirement or plans for advancement in their organization.

The process of self-assessment is utilized to identify new directions that will complement lifestyle changes and provide new sources of income.
